Rehmat Education and Empowerment

Rehmat Education and Empowerment is a charitable organisation dedicated to transforming the lives of street-connected children and those engaged in child labour in deprived areas of Pakistan. Our mission is to remove barriers to learning and provide vulnerable children with the knowledge, skills, and support they need to transform their lives and escape the cycle of poverty.

We work in partnership with Rehmat Educational Foundation (UK) and deliver our programmes through Rehmat School in Ahmed Pur East, District Bahawalpur, where children receive free education, skills training, a daily meal, healthcare, and a safe learning environment. At Rehmat School, we implement Accelerated Literacy Programmes designed to help out-of-school children catch up from primary to elementary levels (Grades 1–8) within three years. The programme uses technology-driven, curriculum-aligned lessons tailored for multi-age learners. The curriculum aligns with Pakistan’s Single National Curriculum (SNC) and has been developed in collaboration with TAKMIL Foundation and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), combining quality content with practical learning support. We not only provide education also provide skills training as well.

By addressing educational gaps and equipping children with life-changing skills, Rehmat Education and Empowerment is helping vulnerable children move from survival to opportunity—and from poverty to possibility.
