In Pakistan, 26.2 million children are out of school, making the country the second highest in the world facing this crisis. Over 13 million children are pushed into child labour, often working in hazardous environments that harm their health and future, fuelling cycles of poverty and exploitation. An estimated 1.5 million street-connected children also facee abuse, neglect, and lack of access to education and healthcare, leaving them vulnerable to unsafe work or crime for survival.
Rehmat Education and Empowerment is a charitable organisation dedicated to educating Pakistan’s most vulnerable children. We provide quality learning and life-changing skills training for street children and child-labour survivors in underserved communities. We work in partnership with Rehmat Educational Foundation (UK) and implement our programmes through Rehmat School—creating safe pathways out of poverty and helping children transition into mainstream society.

Our Accelerated Literacy Programmes help out-of-school children catch up quickly from primary to elementary levels (grades 1–8) in 3 years through technology-driven, curriculum-aligned lessons. Tailored for multi-age learners, the programme uses video lessons, teacher guides, and continuous assessments to ensure every child builds strong literacy skills and progresses effectively. The curriculum aligns with the Single National Curriculum (SNC) and is developed in collaboration with TAKMIL Foundation and JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency). The programme combines quality content with practical support to give every child the chance to succeed.
Basic Literacy & Primary Literacy Completed in 12 Months Period.
Student can mainstream to formal education here or continue with Rehmat School.
Grade 6 and Grade 7 Completed in 12 Months.
Grade 8 Completed Elementary Education Completion
Mainstream into Formal School for Grades 9 and 10.

Rehmat School welcomes 25 new students, further expanding our learning community! We stay committed to teaching and helping former street children and child labourers. For most of these children, this marks their first opportunity to attend school, and we are honoured to provide a caring place for them to learn and grow.
Rehmat Education and Empowerment has signed an MOU with Rehmat Educational Foundation (UK) to strengthen joint efforts in educating street children and child-labour survivors in deprived areas of Pakistan. The partnership aims to provide quality learning and skills training to help vulnerable children break the cycle of poverty.
Founder of Rehmat School, Dr. Shahbaz Chaudhry, visited Rehmat School to meet students and staff and review the progress of educational programmes. During his visit, he interacted with children, encouraged their learning journey, and appreciated the school's role in supporting former street children and child-labour survivors.
Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz, Chair of the Board of Trustees Rehmat Educational Foundation (UK), inaugurated the McNeilly Learning Hub at Rehmat School, honouring Briony McNeilly's support. The hub links students with Caistor Grammar in the UK for online English lessons for Rehmat School students.
Rehmat School's Annual Sports Gala celebrated learning, teamwork, and community. Chair Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz encouraged students, awarded prizes and stipends to support continued education. This reflects Rehmat School's mission to empower vulnerable children and help them break the cycle of poverty.
